Hasami Porcelain
Hasami is located in the Northen part of Nagasaki. It has a long history from the Edo period of about 400 years ago. Hirakikama was the original pottery, since high-quality raw materials were found for producing porcelain, they moved to porcelain-making with a focus on celadon dyes. in the late Edo period, large production volumes of blue and white porcelain became a traditional Japanese style which were, and still are commonly used by people all over the country.
